Short answer
For a small scooter or motorbike shop, Renviq (free for 2 vehicles, €49/month for 15), Pulso (from €29/month) and Booqable (€35/month, €29 billed yearly) have the lowest published entry prices.
Renviq and Booqable say they hold the deposit on the customer's card. Rent Centric, Booqable and HQ Rental Software publish staff apps; Renviq has no native app.

This shortlist compares seven tools that publish pages for motorbike or scooter rental, on what a two-wheeler shop runs every day: hourly and daily rates, a deposit per bike, licence checks, helmets and top cases as extras, pickup photos and a phone in the car park. Every competitor fact comes from the vendor's own public pages, checked on 15 September 2026. Each product gets its limits as well as its strengths, Renviq included.
Which motorcycle rental software should you choose?
No tool wins on everything. For a scooter shop on an island or a touring-bike rental on the coast, four questions decide: how many bikes you run, whether you price by the hour, whether the software should hold the deposit on the customer's card, and whether your staff need an app installed on their phones.
In short:
- Renviq suits small and mid-sized motorbike and scooter fleets, alone or next to cars and boats, that want every feature on every plan, hourly and daily rates, and card deposit holds through their own Stripe account. It has no native app.
- Booqable suits shops that want published prices, hourly scooter rates and deposits authorized on the customer's card, and can live without photo inspections.
- RentSyst suits operators who want €55 a month flat up to 15 vehicles, card authorization and a GPS and telematics option.
- Rent Centric suits motorcycle, ATV and tour operators who want a staff app, 360° damage video and group bookings, and are happy to ask for a price.
- HQ Rental Software suits car and van operators who add motorbikes, want a staff app for pickup inspections and signatures, and can budget USD pricing plus a one-time onboarding fee.
- Pulso suits small Spanish shops (bikes, scooters, motorbikes, boats) that want a low entry price, signing on a tablet and a Verifactu declaration.
- RentMy suits bike, e-bike and moped shops selling online with hourly slots and a counter point of sale, mainly in the US and Canada.
Which tool fits your shop?
- Ten scooters, one person at the counter, tight budget. Renviq's Free plan covers 2 vehicles and Starter covers 15 vehicles for €49 a month. Pulso starts from €29 a month with one staff account and one location. Booqable Start is €35 a month, or €29 a month billed yearly.
- Hourly rentals and half days. Renviq, Booqable (hourly, half-day and full-day rates on its scooter page), Rent Centric ("minute by minute rate calculation blocks"), Pulso (days, hours, months) and RentMy (hour-precise time slots) publish hourly pricing.
- Deposit held on the card, not charged. Booqable, RentSyst ("Card authorization") and Renviq publish it. The practical detail is in our guide to card deposit pre-authorization.
- Staff do handovers on their phones. Rent Centric (Mobile Agent Pro on a tablet or smartphone), HQ Rental Software (check-out from the mobile app, from inspection to signature) and Booqable (mobile point of sale, €9 per user a month) publish apps. Renviq and Pulso run in the phone's browser.
- Guided tours and groups. Rent Centric lists bike tour management, travel agency and tour operator bill split, and child agreements for family or group rentals.
- Theft worries. RentSyst lists GPS and telematics on its pricing page, with a €2.5 a month integration fee. Renviq has no GPS tracker integration.
- Spanish invoicing. Pulso publishes a Verifactu responsible declaration. Renviq does not claim Verifactu compliance.
How did we compare them?
We searched for motorcycle and scooter rental software in English, Spanish and French and kept the vendors that publish a page for motorbikes or scooters and enough on their own site to compare. We read each vendor's motorcycle or scooter page and pricing page on 15 September 2026 and noted only what those pages state. Rentrax and several French tools were left out because their pages did not publish prices or enough feature detail to fill the table.
The criteria are the ones that change a two-wheeler shop's working day:
- Two-wheelers covered: whether the vendor has a motorcycle or scooter page, and what else it rents.
- Entry price as published: the lowest plan, in the vendor's currency and billing period.
- Online booking: whether a booking page or widget is included, and whether it costs extra.
- E-signature: whether the customer signs the rental agreement digitally.
- Card deposit hold: whether the vendor says it can authorize (pre-authorize) the deposit on the customer's card.
- Photo inspections: whether pickup and return photos or damage reports with photos are part of the product.
- Staff app: whether a native app for staff is published.
Three rules apply throughout:
- "Not published" does not mean "missing". It means we did not find it on the vendor's public pages. Many vendors show more in a demo. Ask them in writing.
- Prices are quoted as published, per month, without converting currencies. Booqable's pricing page showed prices in euros when we checked; HQ Rental Software and RentMy publish in US dollars.
- Renviq is our product. Its facts come from our own pricing page and llms.txt, and we applied the same "published or not" rule to it. We used no review-site ratings.

Renviq
Renviq is rental management software for car, motorbike and boat rental businesses, operated from Spain.
Strengths
- Built for how a moto shop runs. Hourly and daily billing, per-bike rates on the same tariff template (a 125 cc scooter and a large tourer at different prices), seasonal rules for summer, and a per-bike turnaround buffer between back-to-back rentals.
- Helmets and top cases as extras. Extras have categories such as helmet, top case, phone holder and insurance, priced per day, per rental or once, and appear on the invoice.
- A deposit per bike, held on the card. Each vehicle can carry its own deposit amount or follow your default. With your own Stripe account connected, staff hold it on the customer's saved card, Renviq renews the hold while the booking is open, and at return you capture the documented part and release the rest.
- Licence on file. The customer record stores licence number, expiry and categories (AM, A1, A2, A and others), and a licence scan can prefill them. Each vehicle stores the categories it requires, and the booking warns you if the licence expires before the rental ends.
- Handover built in. A branded online booking page in 9 languages, pickup and drop-off photo inspections with odometer, fuel and damage photos, and two-party digital rental agreements with a PDF audit trail.
Limits
- No automatic licence-category block. Renviq records what the rider holds and what the bike needs, but it does not stop a booking when they do not match. Staff still compare them at pickup.
- No native mobile app. The web app works in a phone browser; there is nothing to install from an app store.
- Card payments need your own Stripe account, and there is no terminal integration. Deposits taken on your own card terminal or in cash are recorded by hand.
- No GPS tracker or telematics integration.
- Verifactu not claimed, one flat tax rate per business, and a young product with no public reviews yet.
Booqable
Booqable is general rental software with dedicated motorcycle and scooter pages, covering cruisers, sport and adventure bikes, electric scooters, mopeds and gas-powered scooters.
Strengths
- Deposits held on the card. Deposits can be added to every order as a fixed amount or a percentage; for deposits you would rather hold than charge, you "authorize and hold the amount on the customer's card", then release it or capture it if there is damage.
- Hourly scooter rates. Its scooter page describes hourly, half-day and full-day rates, weekend rates and seasonal pricing.
- Signatures at handover. Contracts are generated from the order and signed on a phone before or at pickup (e-signatures from the Grow plan).
- Phone at the lot. The mobile point of sale add-on for iOS and Android creates orders, takes payments and collects in-person signatures; Tap to Pay (powered by Stripe) takes contactless payments.
Limits
- No photo inspections published. The pages describe marking a bike as returned and scheduling downtime, not pickup and return photos.
- E-signatures start on Grow (€87 a month, €69 billed yearly), and the mobile app, website builder and extra locations are paid add-ons.
- Licence checks not published.
RentSyst
RentSyst has pages for motorcycle and scooter rental alongside cars, boats, RVs and trucks.
Strengths
- Predictable small-fleet price: €55 a month flat up to 15 vehicles, excluding VAT, with unlimited branches and managers on every tier.
- Long feature list: booking engine, online payments, card authorization, digital agreement editor, digital signature, check-in and check-out, damage management, fines, e-invoicing and Peppol appear on the pricing page.
- GPS and telematics option: GPS dashboard, vehicle moving history and remote engine controls are listed, with a €2.5 a month integration fee.
- Smartphone access: its scooter page describes managing orders, statistics and payments from a smartphone.
Limits
- Tier coverage is not clear. We could not tell from the pricing page which features are included at €55. Ask before you rely on card authorization.
- The motorcycle and scooter pages are short. They describe online booking, availability, payments and invoicing; hourly rates, helmets and licence checks are not mentioned.
- Setup help is paid, and the payment-gateway integration package is only for annual subscribers.
Rent Centric
Rent Centric sells motorcycle, ATV and off-road rental software alongside products for cars, RVs, boats and car sharing.
Strengths
- Tours and groups: bike tour management, travel agency and tour operator bill split, multi-vehicle booking per inquiry, and child agreements with consolidated totals for family or group rentals.
- Hourly rentals with "minute by minute rate calculation blocks".
- Staff app with video: Mobile Agent Pro runs reservations, agreements, check-outs and check-ins from a tablet or smartphone, with 360° image and video capture of the vehicle's condition.
- Agreements and inspection sheets that can vary by motorcycle make, plus an online reservation website through a WordPress plugin.
Limits
- Prices not published. You fill in a form to see a price.
- Deposit holds and licence checks not published on the pages we read.
HQ Rental Software
HQ Rental Software powers car and van rental and has a page for motorbike and boat rental.
Strengths
- Check-out from the phone: its motorbike page describes managing the check-out "entirely from the HQ mobile app from vehicle inspection to digital signature", and uploading vehicle photos from the app.
- Helmets and insurance as extras, maintenance and repair alerts, and delivery services.
- Online booking and payments through your preferred gateway, plus channel sync with Expedia, Kayak and Turo.
Limits
- USD pricing plus onboarding: from $120 a month and a one-time fee from $550.
- Extra branches cost $50 a month each.
- Built for cars first. Hourly rates, deposit holds and licence checks are not published on the pages we read.
Pulso
Pulso is made by Pacific Board S.L. in Castelldefels (Barcelona), under Spanish law. It covers bikes, motorbikes, electric scooters, boats, jet skis and more.
Strengths
- Low entry price: from €29 a month, with free onboarding and a 14-day trial without a card.
- Signing on a tablet or phone, contracts and invoices generated from the booking, and an online store for your website.
- Hourly pricing: prices can be set by days, hours or months.
- Verifactu declaration: Pulso publishes a responsible declaration, dated 28 November 2025, stating that it works only in VERI*FACTU mode and sends every invoice to the Spanish tax agency.
Limits
- Staff accounts are capped: Starter has one staff account and one location; four accounts need PRO (from €79).
- Photo inspections, card deposit holds and licence checks are not published.
- Not vehicle-specific. It is built for rental in general, from ski gear to kayaks.
RentMy
RentMy (Renterval LLC) covers bikes, e-bikes, scooters, mopeds and motorcycles, with a booking website and a counter point of sale.
Strengths
- Hour-precise time slots and live availability across online, phone and counter sales.
- Deposits and upsells: tokenized cards, "damage and gear deposits", saved payment methods for late or extension fees, and helmet and lock upsells at checkout.
- Signatures on liability waivers and rental contracts, stored against the order.
Limits
- US-oriented billing: fees are collected in USD; on Nano, payments go through Fortis Payments (US and Canada), and your own processor costs $99 a month.
- One-time setup fee of $249 on each plan, and Nano is capped at 20 products.
- Photo inspections, card holds and licence checks are not published.
Which tools hold a deposit on the customer's card?
A pre-authorization blocks the deposit on the card without charging it, so you can release it or capture part of it after the return inspection. On a scooter that came back with a scratched fairing, that is the difference between charging the documented repair and chasing the customer by email. Three of the seven publish it:
- Booqable: authorize and hold the amount on the customer's card from the back office, release it or capture it for damage.
- RentSyst: "Card authorization" on the pricing page; tier not stated.
- Renviq: holds the deposit on the customer's saved card through your own Stripe account and renews the hold automatically while the booking is open. If the bank declines a renewal, the deposit goes back to pending and your team gets an email.
RentMy mentions deposits, but not a card hold. Rent Centric, HQ Rental Software and Pulso do not publish one. Whichever tool you pick, ask how long a hold stays valid; online card holds typically last about 7 days, which matters for a two-week touring rental.
What should a motorbike rental shop check before choosing?
Most feature lists look the same. These are the questions that separate them for two-wheelers.
- Licence categories. Scooters from 50 cc to 125 cc and larger touring bikes need different licences. Check whether the software stores the rider's categories, links them to each bike, and warns or blocks when they do not match. Renviq stores both and warns about expiry, but does not block a mismatch. See also the driving licence check.
- Helmets and gear. Check that helmets, top cases, phone holders and jackets can be priced per day or per rental, and that they count against stock so you do not promise ten helmets you do not have.
- A deposit per bike. A 50 cc scooter and a 1,200 cc tourer should not carry the same deposit. Check that the deposit can be set per vehicle, held on the card, and partly captured.
- Damage from falls. Low-speed drops scratch mirrors, levers and fairings. You need pickup photos of each side, a return inspection the customer signs, and a deposit you can capture against. Our damage payment dispute guide covers what to do when the customer refuses to pay.
- Theft. Ask whether the software integrates a GPS tracker (RentSyst lists telematics; Renviq does not), and make sure your contract and insurance say who pays when a bike is stolen.
- Hourly and seasonal prices. Half-day scooter hire and August rates should be rules, not manual edits. See seasonal rental pricing.
- Phones in the car park. Decide whether staff need an installed app or whether a web app in the phone's browser is enough for photos and signatures.
- Online booking cost. Check whether the booking page is included or a paid add-on. Renviq, Booqable, Pulso and RentMy include one on their entry plans; ask the others what it costs. Our guide to direct online bookings explains why it matters.
- Spanish invoicing. Ask each vendor, in writing, what it supports for Verifactu. Pulso publishes a declaration; Renviq does not claim compliance.
- Trial on a real day. Run a booking with a helmet extra, a signed agreement, a pickup inspection, a return with a scratched mirror and an invoice.
