Cookie Policy

Throughout this page, 'cookie' is shorthand for any client-side storage or tracking technology — HTTP cookies, browser localStorage entries, and pixel tags used by analytics tools. Some are first-party (set by Renviq directly), some are third-party (set by a tool we use).

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. They include your session token in the application, security cookies that distinguish humans from bots, and the consent record itself (so you are not asked again every page). These do not need consent under GDPR / ePrivacy and cannot be disabled without breaking the service.

We use two privacy-friendly analytics tools — PostHog (product analytics) and Plerdy (heatmaps and session recordings) — to understand how visitors and users interact with the product. Both are loaded only after you accept analytics in the banner. We do not preload analytics scripts in the background or use 'consent-less' fingerprinting techniques.

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous. We never use it to identify you individually or to target advertising at you (we do not run ads).

Until you make a choice in the consent banner, no analytics or marketing scripts run, no third-party network requests fire from this page beyond what is needed to render it, and no advertising identifiers are set. The only thing stored is the consent record itself once you click Accept or Decline.

The list below covers every cookie and tracker the site sets. Strictly necessary entries are always present; analytics entries are only set after you accept analytics.

You can change your analytics choice at any time by clicking 'Manage cookies' at the bottom of any page on this site. That clears the saved choice and re-shows the banner, where you can accept or decline again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may break the service — the session cookie is strictly necessary for staying signed in.

Most browsers honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and various Do Not Track headers. We treat a GPC signal as equivalent to a 'Decline' choice in the analytics banner. We do not pre-set a tracking choice for you based on Do Not Track alone, because the signal has been adopted inconsistently.

If we add, remove, or change a tracker, we will update this page and bump the 'Last updated' date. Adding a new third-party tool that requires consent will also re-prompt you in the banner.
