Charter setups Renviq runs

Bareboat charter with a skipper toggleSwitch the skipper on the booking — the extra becomes a line item on the invoice.
Half-day morning and afternoon slotsHourly billing per slot with a turnaround buffer between sessions on the same boat.
Multi-day cruise with deposit held to returnDaily billing across the dates; the deposit tracks pending → collected → refunded on the dropoff inspection.
Seasonal summer ratesSeason rules with date ranges adjust the rate automatically — no manual retariffing mid-season.
Multi-marina fleet under one accountOne tenant, multiple boats and locations — every booking carries its own pricing, agreement and inspection.
Per-boat pricing for premium vs entryVehicle tariffs are per-boat — a Lagoon catamaran and an entry sloop can run different daily rates on the same template.

Built for marinas

What a marina or charter operator actually runs

Renter on file

Licence and ID captured at booking, not on paper

Documents scanned from the phone, fields parsed into the renter record.

Charter pricing

Daily and hourly rates with extras and a deposit on every booking

Skipper and fuel are configurable extras that fold into the invoice; the deposit is tracked through pickup and return.

Dock-side inspection

Engine hours, fuel level and photo evidence with damage flags

Captured from the dock on a phone. The dropoff inspection settles the deposit.

Charter agreement

Two-party signature on the phone, PDF filed with the booking

The marina signs first, the renter signs second. Both get a copy and the PDF stays with the booking.

Everything is included in every plan

Free and Max ship the exact same product. The only difference is capacity.

Questions

Boat rental software FAQ

Can I price a daily charter with extras like a skipper or fuel?

Yes. Daily and hourly billing units are first-class. Skipper, fuel and similar add-ons are configurable extras that fold into the invoice as line items.

Do you hold a deposit for a charter?

Every booking has a deposit with a status: pending, collected, refunded. It is authorized on pickup and released or kept on the dropoff.

Can I capture hull damage at handover?

Yes. Inspection photos can be flagged for damage with severity, and the same evidence is mirrored into the agreement and the dropoff settlement.

Can the same boat run a half-day morning slot and a different rental in the afternoon?

Yes. Hourly billing covers half-day slots and the per-boat turnaround buffer blocks the calendar between two sessions so the second handover is not rushed.

How are seasonal rates handled?

Season rules with date ranges adjust the rate automatically. A season rule can also be limited to specific weekdays — useful for premium weekend pricing inside a season.

Can I manage multiple boats from different marinas under one account?

Yes. The tenant has many locations and many vehicles; bookings are scoped to a location but reports and team access span the whole account.
